Results from our 5th event of the Nevada Summer Session. Originally scheduled for Saturday but was canceled due to high winds. Fortunately, and a big thanks to Kelly Connors with NPS for which she was able to reschedule for today. We had a total of 16 teams today
1st Place went to Stephen Camden and Justin Campbell with a 5 fish limit of 16.79. They took home a total of $1520 plus an additional box of baits worth $100 from @Get Out & Fish, USA”. Thank you, Richard Johnson.
2nd Place went to Ryan and Dean Yamagata with a 5 fish limit of 16.04. Ryan redeemed himself from his US Open results at least. Ryan & Dean earned $700 for the 2nd place finish and another $50 from B&E Auto.
3rd Place went to local juggernaut Justin Kerr and Jay Wright. Justin brought in a respectable 5 fish limit for 13.14, picking up $388 for 3rd place money and an additional $50 from B&E Auto.
4th Place went to Jason Bryan & Markus Avalos. We were only able to bring 3 fish to the scales for a total of 10.10. We did get the bites we needed, just couldn’t put them in the boat today. We snagged $200 for 1st out of the money sponsored by 24/7 Heating & Air.
Ryland Ogle & Asa Stephenson bagged up the smallest 5 fish limit of 9.55 and another $200 to add to their seasons total. Thank you, John Mackey and Mtn Pine Construction, for their sponsorship.
Big fish of the day went to Jamie Faulconer, he had a largemouth of 4.97 and $360 for his first cash of the season.
John Mackey and Russell Vansickle caught a 4.71 largemouth with only 20 minutes to check in earning them 2nd big fish money of $240.
John Mackey and I evidently decided to also have our own 2 team striper derby. I think John’s striper could have eaten mine. Wow, what a fish. (See Pics, AOY Standing and more at link below)
