As for my own results 64th.
I had been practicing at least one day every weekend for the previous 5 or 6 weeks and only practiced the Saturday before the event. I was not able practice on Monday or Tuesday.
Wednesday was cancelled so my co-angler and I went to Mohave instead. Should have stayed home, lol.
1st day of event I was boat 86 and in the last flight. I decided to run through the canyon and fish Virgin Basin. Fishing was tough and by 1pm we had 4 fish in the box. One caught on a frog, one a glidebait, one a jig, and one on a spinnerbait. My trolling motor battery died at 1pm because stupid me was messing around with my cmonster power pole charge and evidently had moved the setting to only charge my cranking battery. So for the past 4 days on the water my battery was running off of it’s last full charge. I decided to run to the wash and spend the rest of day with my powerpoles down sittin on a couple of differnt points. We managed to get our 5th fish but only weighed 7.95. Day 2 I was 15th boat out and ran to the wash. On my fourth cast I caught a 3.89 largmouth and then struggled the rest of day and only managed to catch 2 more keepers.
